ANNOUNCMENT: Sept. 27, 2023: the BC Government announces $10 million each for the Canadian Cancer Society and Hope Air for them to expand their travel programs to support cancer patients.
| Angel Flight | Angel Flight of BC provides free air transportation to ambulatory cancer patients requiring travel to treatment at cancer clinics and hospitals in Vancouver, Victoria and other cancer centres within the approved Angel Flight areas of operation. |
| Canadian Cancer Society |
Cancer Travel & Accommodation Services (BC) offers transportation assistance, accommodations, and financial support to offset travel costs. Patients can call 1-888-939-3333 for more information.
Wheels of Hope provides clients with free transportation to cancer treatments with volunteer drivers who provide safe and reliable rides to approved cancer treatment facilities. In BC, this program is only available in the interior, Prince George and on Vancouver Island.

Hospital Transfers

BC Cancer: Parking for patients
SPARC BC: Parking Permit Program - apply for a parking permit for people with disabilities so that they can park in one of the designated parking spots throughout British Columbia.
The BC Cancer library system consists of a central library at Vancouver Centre, and branches in Abbotsford, Kelowna, Prince George, and Victoria where both patient and professional collections are available on site. Librarian staff are available at all centres, including Surrey.
