BC Human Rights Clinic The BCHRC provides free legal services to people who need help with a provincial human rights complaint
Government of BC Wills and estates - resources for making a will in BC

Legal Aid BC

Offers a number of different legal services:

Aboriginal Legal Aid assists Aboriginal peoples in BC understand their legal rights by providing legal info and connecting communities to legal support. 

Family Law in BC provides guidance regarding separation/divorce, children, finances and support

Legal Aid BC provides a range of free services, with priority given to people with low incomes within BC

Nidus Personal Planning  The Nidus Resource Centre provides guidance on personal legal planning and representation
People's Law School

The Peoples Law School is a non-profit BC Society that provides information about all types of legal concerns, including future care planning, wills & estates, and more

Dial-A-Law, a service of the PLS, provides information on wills, dealing with an estate, and personal planning

Public Guardian and Trustee of BC The PGTBC protects the legal and financial interests of children under the age of 19 years; the legal, financial, personal and health care interests of adults who require assistance in decision making; and

administer the estates of deceased and missing persons.

Seniors First BC Elder Law Clinic provides pro bono legal services to eligible older adults residing in BC, including assistance in matters of adult guardianship, preparing wills, powers of attorney, representation agreements and more. 

 



 The BC Cancer library system consists of a central library at Vancouver Centre, and branches in Abbotsford, Kelowna, Prince George, and Victoria where both patient and professional collections are available on site. Librarian staff are available at all centres, including Surrey.
