Trans Care BC Toolkit (2019): Gender-affirming Care for Trans, Two-Spirit, and Gender Diverse Patients in BC: A Primary Care Toolkit (T)
This Primary Care Toolkit is intended to support GPs and NPs who are relatively new to providing care to gender diverse people. It includes some basic information about gender-affirming care options and tools to assist with initiating and/or maintaining hormone therapy.

Produced by the Registered Nurses' Association of Ontario, this best practice guideline is to provide nurses and other members of the interprofessional team with evidence-based recommendations on foundational, inclusive and affirming care practices for Two-Spirit, lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans, queer, intersex, and additional (2SLGBTQI+) people.

Standards of Care for the Health of Transsexual, Transgender, and Gender Nonconforming People
Produced by the World Professional Association for Transgender Health, the overall goal of the standard of care is to provide clinical guidance for health professionals to assist transsexual, transgender, and gender nonconforming people with safer and more effective pathways to achieving lasting personal comfort with their gendered selves, in order to maximize their overall health, psychological well-being, and self-fulfillment.
Guidelines for the Primary and Gender-Affirming Care of Transgender and Gender Nonbinary People (G,T)
These guidelines aim to address disparities in care by equipping primary care providers and health systems with the tools and knowledge to meet the health care needs of their transgender and gender nonconforming patients. These guidelines expand on the original UCSF Primary Care Protocol for Transgender Care, which since its launch in 2011.
Best Practices in Creating and Delivering LGBTQ Cultural Competency Trainings for Health and Social Service Agencies
Produced by the National LGBT Cancer Network, this manual offers a conceptual framework that coordinates learning theory, training skills, content and evaluation. The manual is also useful for assessing existing curricula and for guidance when making routine updates.
