ORCiD is like a DOI for people. It is a unique, persistent identifier that distinguishes you from everyone else. Use it to organize and share your professional profile, and even log in to PubMed, BLAST, Genome, and other NCBI resources! ORCiDs are increasingly used by publishers and funding institutions to correctly identify and manage authors and researchers.
