This topic guide is meant to support staff and clinicians in better understanding the relevance of health equity to our work at BC Cancer. Whether you are new to these concepts or further along in your learning journey, this guide is intended to direct you to the tools and resources needed to apply an equity-driven lens to your work in various settings within our health system.
Resources included have been jointly curated by the BC Cancer Library and Nursing and Allied Health Research and Knowledge Translation (NAHRKT) department. The contents of this guide are focused on delivering accessible and inclusive health services to community members who face unjust barriers to appropriate care and positive health outcomes.
Staff are encouraged to explore resources based on topic and/ or format (e.g. Online learning module, toolkit, books, etc.) which are located in the menu on the left side of this guide. If there are any concerns with the resources included, or if you would like to suggest a resource, please contact Pamela Bontuyan.
